Module 2: Regulatory Requirements and Standards

• Scaffold tagging systems (Green/Yellow/Red tags)

Module 3: Types of Scaffolding Systems

• Tube and coupler
• Frame scaffolds
• System scaffolds (Cuplock, Ringlock)
• Suspended scaffolds (overview)

Module 4: Erection Procedures

• Planning and site preparation
• Selection of components and materials
• Assembly of base plates, standards, ledgers, and braces
• Guardrails, toe boards, and access ladders

Module 5: Dismantling Procedures

• Sequence of safe dismantling
• Component handling and storage
• Stability during removal
• Preventing premature disassembly

Module 6: Inspection and Maintenance

• Daily inspection checklist
• Fault identification (e.g., corrosion, damaged parts)
• Reporting unsafe scaffolding

Module 7: Fall Protection & PPE

• Use of harnesses and anchor points

Certification:
