Course Introduction :

This 10-hour course is intended to provide entry level general industry workers information about employee/employer rights and responsibilities, and to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job related hazards on a job site. The training is to be tailored to the type of work involved. Training should emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention, not OSHA standards

  1. Introduction to OSHA or Local Governmental Agencies – 1 hour
  2. Walking and Working Surfaces, including fall protection – 1 hour
  3. Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plan, Fire Prevention Plan, and Fire Protection – 1 hour
  4. Electrical Safety – 1 hour
  5. Personal Protective Equipment – 1 hour
  6. Hazard Communication – 1 hour
  7. Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment – 2 hours
