MEDIC First Aid BasicPlus – CPR, AED and First Aid for Adults

MEDIC First Aid BasicPlus is a combined adult first aid, AED, and CPR certification course designed specifically for the occupational first aid provider. This extremely flexible program will help employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employees how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work.

Introduction

Many People are often reluctant to administer First Aid treatment because of the fear that they may face legal action if they do something wrong. If you stay within the boundaries of your first aid training you cannot be held legally responsible for any adverse outcome.
As a first aider in the work place you have a contractual obligation to administer first aid to other employees and members or the public if your employer identifies this within the company’s assessment of First Aid. Remember that any assistance you can offer to someone who is injured or taken ill, can only benefit that person.

Intended Audience:

Occupational first aid providers who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers

Approvals and Certifications:

Internationally recognized by  American Safety and Health Institute – ASHI
Locally approved by KSA Corporation for Ambulance Services – DCAS

2 Years

Aim :

This qualification has been developed to qualify you as First Aiders. Learners must successfully pass one day formal training course that is accredited through an awarding organization (MEDIC First Aid).
