Unit 3: Risk Evaluation and Control

• Likelihood vs. severity
• Applying the risk matrix
• Selecting and applying control measures (hierarchy of control)

Unit 4: The Five Steps to Risk Assessment

• Identify the hazards
• Decide who might be harmed and how
• Evaluate the risks and decide on precautions
• Record findings and implement them
• Review the assessment and update if necessary

Unit 5: Practical Applications and Documentation

• Writing effective risk assessment reports
• Communicating risk controls
• Real-life examples and scenarios

Assessment Method:

• Multiple-Choice Exam (Paper-based or Online via LMS)
• Pass Mark: 70%
